Suicide Bombers Target Military Convoy in Eastern Afghanistan
NATO officials in Afghanistan say four coalition soldiers have been wounded in a bomb blast targeting a military convoy in the eastern part of the country. NATO's International Security Assistance force says the attack took place Saturday in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province. Provincial officials, however, say an ISAF soldier was killed in an explosion triggered by a suicide car bomber. ISAF officials did not confirm the casualty.Posted by: Fred 2008-06-01 |
