Obama targets 'Republican' states
Barack Obama is turning his attention to winning over traditionally Republican-voting US states in his campaign to be the next US president. Days after gaining enough delegates to win the Democratic Party nomination, Mr Obama is holding rallies in Virginia - last won by a Democrat nominee in 1964. Mr Obama is holding two rallies in Virginia on Thursday.
