Qazi leaves for Qatar
The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amalâs acting President Qazi Hussain Ahmad will leave for Qatar today (Friday) to attend a conference on the Islamic worldâs relations with the United States of America organised by the government of Qatar. Mr Qazi told journalists on Thursday that he would draw the worldâs attention to the fact that Muslims were targeted after the September 11 terror attacks, a US government policy that the world should criticise. âThe US administration should change its attitude to Muslims,â he added.Posted by: Fred Pruitt 2004-01-10 |
