24 suspects arrested south of Kirkuk
(VOI)- A total of 24 suspected gunmen were arrested on Wednesday during a security raid in south of Kirkuk, said a police source."Policemen waged a wide-scale searching operation in al-Nasr neighborhood, south of Kirkuk, where they arrested 24 suspected gunmen, including eight wanted men," the source told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq (VOI) on condition of anonymity. Brig. Sarhad Qader, Kirkuk's districts police chief, had said earlier that a total of 18 suspected gunmen, including 11 wanted men, were arrested during a security raid in eight villages in southwest Kirkuk.
