Car bombing leaves 18 casualties in central Baghdad
(VOI) - Three persons, including one police element, and 15 others were wounded in a car bombing that targeted a police patrol in central Baghdad on Thursday, a security source said. "A car bomb parked on al-Muthana airport road near al-Alawi district, central Baghdad, detonated leaving three persons including a police element dead and 15 others, including 12 policemen, wounded," a police source, who requested anonymity, told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI).Earlier, 26 security members and civilians were wounded in a number of violent acts across Baghdad.
