Gunmen kill 5 in Pakistan's tribal region
 (Xinhua) -- Unidentified gunmen shot dead five people in Pakistan's tribal region on Friday, the News Network International (NNI) news agency reported. The pro-government Tribal elder Malik Zahid-ud-Din was traveling in a car with his brothers, son and nephew when the gunmen attacked them in North Waziristan tribal area, said the report. The tribal elder and his relatives died on the spot and their car was completely destroyed in the attack. The assailants fled the scene after the attack.
