Hangu Taliban launch operation against 'criminals'
Local Taliban on Friday launched a crackdown against ‘criminals’ in Doaba in the Hangu district. Armed Taliban attempted to set on fire a house and a vehicle of an alleged criminal Ilyas alias Saddar. Locals, however, restrained Taliban from setting the house on fire. Meanwhile, in two separate incidents, unidentified gunmen kidnapped three people including two Sikhs and stole a vehicle near the Toorawari area.Posted by: Fred 2008-06-14 |
