Security forces arrest 2 armed groups' leaders in Karbala
(VOI)- Two leaders of armed groups were arrested on Tuesday in western Karbala, the chief of local police said. Security forces arrested two leaders of armed groups after receiving intelligence reports on their presence in a house in al-Ghadier neighborhood in western Karbala, General Raed Shaker Jawdat told Aswat al-Iraq Voices of Iraq (VOI). The two are accused of being responsible for special groups for organized assassinations and smuggling weapons to some provinces in central Iraq, he explained.
