Hamid Saeed appointed adviser to PM on religious affairs
Prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has appointed Maulana Hamid Saeed Kazmi as Adviser to the Prime minister on Religious Affairs. Maulana Kazmi thanked the prime minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari for their confidence in him. He vowed to do his best and to contribute to further improvement in the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Maulana Kazmi is also secretary general of the Nizam-e-Mustafa party, which contested in the recent general elections as a coalition partner of the PPP. He has been elected twice as member of the National Assembly, and in the recent elections he was elected from Rahimyar Khan.
