MQM to 'aggressively' back Musharraf
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to adopt an aggressive strategy in support of President Pervez Musharraf, sources said on Saturday.The sources in the Presidency and the MQM said Sindh Governor Ishratul Ebad supervised a reception hosted by a group of Karachi businessmen in honour of President Musharraf on Friday. The Sindh governor received the president upon his arrival at Karachi whereas Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, who is from the PPP, and his ministers were absent.
