Gunman surrenders in Kirkuk
(VOI) -- A gunman in Kirkuk surrendered to the Iraqi army 4th contingent, exploiting the national reconciliation project's amnesty decree, said a source from the Iraqi army. Abdullah Fadhil Hindi on Tuesday afternoon surrendered to the contingent's forces deployed in al-Rashad area (southwestern Kirkuk),' Major Shawan Ghareb Samerani told Aswat al-Iraq -- Voices of Iraq -- (VOI). 'Fadhil is an element of an armed group that conducted operations against security forces in al-Rashad area,' he added.
