12 rockets fired at US base in Khost
The U.S. military says about a dozen rockets have been fired at an American base in eastern Afghanistan. But there were no injuries or damage. A spokesman for a provincial governor says the rockets smashed into fields near the airport in Khost last night. They were fired from near the Pakistani border and he blames remnants of al-Qaida.
