Religious scholar shot dead
 Eminent religious scholar Feroz Karbalai was gunned down in Bannu on Monday by a motorcyclist, Samaa TV reported. According to the channel, Karbalai was sitting in his drawing room when a motorcyclist opened fire on him, injuring him severely. He was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
