Militants target military installations in Lower Dir
Militants targeted military installations with missiles in the Timergarah area of Lower Dir district late on Friday night, but there were no casualties.This was the second attack in less than a month in which militants fired missiles at military installations. Security forces retaliated, creating panic among residents. Lower Dir Nazim Ahmed Hassan Khan told the district assembly on Saturday that the situation was calm in the area as army officials and the district administration were holding jirgas with area elders.
