2 gunmen killed in clashes in Mosul
(VOI) -- Iraqi army forces killed two gunmen in clashes that erupted on Monday between the Iraqi military and unidentified armed men in western Mosul, an army source said. "Unidentified gunmen waged an attack on an Iraqi army checkpoint in the area of al-Hai al-Sinaie, western Mosul, prompting the Iraqi soldiers to fire back, killing two gunmen," the source, who declined to have his name mentioned, told Aswat al-Iraq -- Voices of Iraq -- (VOI).
