Bin Laden's Former Driver Sentenced to 5 1/2 Years in Prison - 5 months left to serve
A military jury has reached a verdict on the sentence for Usama bin Laden's driver at the first Guantanamo Bay war crimes trial.
Salim Hamdan faces up to life in prison, and prosecutors are seeking a sentence of at least 30 years. The verdict is to be announced by the same panel of six U.S. military officers that convicted Hamdan of supporting terrorism. He was acquitted of charges that he conspired in terrorist attacks.
