Bombings kill 3 policemen in Iraq
A car bomb attack against a police building in western Mosul has left a policeman killed and 25 others injured, reports say. The attack comes when an explosive-laden truck struck a building said to be a secret Ninewa police base in the city's al-Jadida neighborhood on Sunday, the Voices of Iraq reported. In another bombing in the northern city of Kirkuk, two other Iraqi police officers were killed and 24 others injured. A bomber detonated his car outside the police academy in the oil-rich city as groups of volunteers were leaving the department. Ten of those injured were in critical conditions.
