Israel: Government to create new 'anti-Jihad' authority
(AKI) - The Israeli government has decided to set up a new authority to tackle the threat to national security posed by Islamist terror groups, Israel Radio reports.The authority will be headed by the Israeli Defence Ministry's anti-terrorism chief. Its members will include the chiefs of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency and its domestic spy service Shin Bet, as well as its security forces.
