Baghdad car bomb kills 12
 At least 12 people were killed and 26 others wounded yesterday when a car bomb struck a crowded market in the southern Baghdad neighbourhood of Dora, police said. Women and children were among the dead in the attack that also destroyed nearly a dozen shops in the Abu Dshir market, a police officer told AFP, adding that several bodies were burnt beyond recognition.The bombing followed an earlier blast in the same primarily Sunni Baghdad district of Dora where a booby trapped bomb exploded near a minibus, an interior ministry official said on condition of anonymity.
