Canadian Gitmo inmate to challenge detention
Canadian Omar Khadr, the last westerner held at Guantanamo, will challenge his detention and upcoming trial before a federal judge on Thursday, on grounds it violates international and United States laws, his lawyers said. Khadr, 21, was arrested in Afghanistan in 2002, and charged with killing a US soldier with a hand grenade.
