Would-be suicide bomber arrested in Charsadda
Police arrested a would-be suicide bomber and a suspected armed person in Shabqadar in Charsadda district during the passing-out parade of the Frontier Corps (FC), which NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani was also attending.The would-be suicide bomber was arrested when he was around 200 metres away from the governor, police said, adding he had been shifted to Peshawar for investigation. Police said the name of the suspected person arrested by the Shabqadar police was Sajjad, a resident of Mardan Garhi Kapoora. Police refused to share more details.
