Florida county nixes naked polling place
The elections supervisor in Pascoe County, Fla., says a request for naked polling place at a local nudist colony is probably a publicity stunt. Brian Corley told the St. Petersburg Times that while there was a request submitted by the management at the Caliente Resort, it was made far too late for anything to be done in time for this week's presidential election. "I think they're just doing some marketing hype," Corley chuckled.The Times said Sunday that the clothing-optional crowd at Caliente has to get dressed and venture a couple of miles up U.S. 41 to cast their ballots at an existing polling place.
