Nine rangers wounded in bombing in southern Thailand
A bomb blast wounded nine paramilitary rangers in the violence-plagued province of Narathiwat. The remote controlled bomb, weighing five kilogrammes, was detonated when paramilitary rangers were patrolling a roadside area on Petchkasem Road in Bacho district by foot. Nine men in the government patrol were wounded, three severely.
