Hamas claims attack on Israeli army base
The Palestinian group Hamas has claimed responsibility for Friday's shelling of an Israeli military base along Israel's frontier with the Gaza Strip where six soldiers were wounded. "In response to the crimes of the (Israeli) occupation, the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam brigades attacked the Nahal Oz military base," Hamas's armed wing said on Saturday, referring to the border kibbutz that has a military garrison.
