Four injured in bomb attack on Peshawar school
At least four people were injured when the Taliban detonated a private school building after torching four buses in the limits of Mathra police station on Monday, police and witnesses told Daily Times.Samiullah, a guard at Peshawar Model School's boys campus, who was present at the time of the attack, told Daily Times that around 12 armed men scaled the school walls and torched the four buses. The Taliban later planted a bomb in the school's administration block and the subsequent explosion severely damaged the school building. Four school employees - Naveed, Sher Muhammad, Muhammadullah and Aurangzeb -- were injured. The Taliban also torched two classrooms and a deep freezer and also detonated explosives at the gate of Frontier Model School (boys campus), located opposite to Peshawar Model School, but there were no casualties.
