ANP leader shot dead in Mingora
A local Awami National Party leader was shot dead in the congested Green Chowk on Tuesday. In other incidents, two people, including a police official, were kidnapped and a vacant house of a deputy superintendent of police (DSP) was blown up.ANP leader Malik Riaz Ahmed Khan, also a general councillor of Kanju Union Council, was killed when unidentified attackers sprayed his car with bullets. He died on the spot, a police official said. Fazal Anwar, a police official, was kidnapped from Barikot tehsil while armed men abducted Haider Sher, brother of Pakistan People's Party (Sherpao) Swat President Sher Shah Khan from Kabal Tehsil.
