Jalili in Damascus to discuss Gaza
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has arrived in Syria to discuss the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. During the two-day visit, Saeed Jalili will hold talks with senior Syrian and Palestinian officials, including the Syrian President Bashar al-Asad, IRNA reported. Jalili will also hold talks with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem and Hamas political leader, Khalid Mashal. Hossein Sheikholeslam, Iran's deputy foreign minister and a group of senior political experts are accompanying Jalili.
