Pakistan army discovers van packed with explosives
The Pakistani army said it has discovered a van packed with almost 900 pounds of explosives in the country's northwest. It said militants planned to use the vehicle in a suicide bombing. The army media center said the van was discovered during a raid Sunday on a house in the Khyber tribal region near the Afghan border. Six suspected militants were arrested in the raid.
