Five killed, 14 injured in Hangu clashes
 Five people were killed and 14 others sustained injuries in clashes on Friday that erupted after Shia protesters demonstrated against the imposition of curfew in Hangu during Ashura, sources said. Fearing sectarian clashes, the district administration had imposed curfew in the city on Thursday, barring Shia mourners from taking out Ashura processions. The protesters opened fire on Friday when the security forces tried to stop them from entering the city. The security forces retaliated. Casualties in the crossfire could not be confirmed.
