Pakistani student killed in London brawl
 A Pakistani student was murdered on Sunday in a fight involving 20 men outside a local restaurant in the East London district of Bethnal Green. British police have appealed for information and witnesses. The deceased was identified as Syed Qamar Islam, a 28-year-old Pakistani national studying Information Technology who was working as a part-time waiter at the restaurant, the police said. Three men suffered head injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital where Islam died. A post-mortem was due late on Sunday.
