50 detainees being released a day in Iraq
The US military says it has begun releasing 50 detainees a day to meet the US-Iraqi security agreement that requires those in custody not wanted by the Iraqis be released.The military said in a statement on Tuesday that it will release 1,500 detainees a month - 50 a day - to meet the requirements of the agreement that took effect on January 1.
