Unmanned drones set to start patrolling Canadian border
Unmanned drones, based at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota, are set to start patrolling the Canadian border. A ceremony to mark the launch is set for tomorrow at the base. The military facility is one of five outposts that will be part of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection unmanned aircraft program.The Predator drone can detect a moving person from 10 kilometres away.
