2 roadside bombs defused in Nassiriya
Aswat al-Iraq: Police patrols in Thi-Qar on Saturday defused two roadside bombs to the north of Nassiriya city, according to a release issued by the province's police directorate. "The roadside bombs were found on the banks of the al-Gharaf river, in al-Refaee district (80 km north of Nasseriya)," said the release that was received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency. "One of the bombs weighs 7 kg and the other weighs 5.5 kg," it added.
