US drone kills two in FR Bannu village
 Two militants, including a foreigner, were killed when a suspected US spy plane fired two missiles on a hideout in Janikhel area, Frontier Region (FR) Bannu, on Sunday night. Sources said a US drone was seen hovering over the area in the afternoon. It was reported that two missiles were fired by the drone, hitting a house in Janikhel Wazir area. Two militants, including a foreigner, were killed. One of them was identified as Maulvi Taj Ali while the identity of the foreigner militant could not be ascertained.Posted by: Fred 2009-03-17 |
