Taliban close family planning centre in Dir
The Taliban in Lower Dir on Sunday locked a family planning centre working under the Population Welfare Department in Maidan, locals and official sources told Daily Times. According to the sources, the Taliban warned that the centre would be blown up if the government reopened it. The sources said the centre was found locked on Sunday and a notice was pasted on the door warning that no one would be allowed to reopen the office.
