4 MILF jihadis dead in attack in Mindanao
Yet another violation of their cease-fire. Is anybody keeping track here?Four Muslim separatist guerrillas were killed after they attacked a village in Mindanao, police said Friday. About 30 members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) raided the home of the district chairman near Midsayap town Tuesday, but armed residents fought back killing four of the attackers. Soldiers and police helped the residents. It was not clear why the MILF launched the attack, which came despite a ceasefire in place between the government and the MILF in order to pave the way for the resumption of peace talks.
