US Embassy suspends consular services in Islamabad
 ISLAMABAD - A spokesman says 'heightened security' is prompting the suspension of routine consular services Friday at the U.S. Embassy in Pakistans capital.Lou Fintor declined Thursday night to give any more information on what led to the security concern in Islamabad. He said the U.S. consulates in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar will be open Friday. Fintor says while regular consular services, such as visa processing for Pakistani nationals, wont be available in the capital on Friday, the embassy still will be able to provide emergency services to Americans.
