Explosion hits peace Jirga in NWFP

It's like throwing out the first pitch...Several people were feared dead and wounded Friday in a reportedly suicide blast at a peace meeting of tribal elders in a Pakistani northern tribal town, said sources. A suicide bomber reportedly blew himself up when a peace Jirga was underway in Hodeed area of Bannu tribal town in North-West Frontier Province (NWFP), tribal sources told KUNA. They said several people are believed to have been killed and wounded in the explosion.
