US approves additional $1.9 bln in aid to Pakistan
 [Geo News] The US Congress Committee has approved $1.9 billion in additional assistance to Pakistan, Islamabad ambassador to Washington Hussain Haqqani said on Friday.Speaking to media persons here, Haqqani said: "The United States wants enduring bilateral ties with Pakistan." Terming the approval of $1.9 billion by the US committee a great success, he said that it was a proof that America wants better relations with Islamabad.
