US working with UN to help NWFP IDPs: Hillary
The United States is working with the United Nations to help hundreds of thousands of internally displaced persons of the NWFP, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Monday. "The United Nations brings relief, they (UN) bring humanitarian aid. We are looking at what can be done to help the hundreds of thousands of people fleeing the region because of the Taliban and the Pakistani Army's offensive," she said. Speaking at the Annual Global Classrooms DC Model UN Conference, the chief US diplomat referred to places experiencing conflict and violence and said, "We worry about displaced people in Darfur.
