    The foreign minister of Qatar, purportedly one of the more pro-American Arab countries, says U.S. air strikes in Afghanistan are "unacceptable." Sheikh Hamad bin-Jassem bin-Jabr al-Thani adds: "We think that the Afghan people should not be the victims of these attacks."
