Heli crash in Afghanistan kills two Marines
A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter on a resupply mission in northern Afghanistan experienced a "hard landing" in mountainous terrain, killing two of the seven Marines on board. The five survivors have been moved to medical facilities and an investigation is under way to find the cause of the incident.
Even the routine stuff is dangerous. It's a helluva war when you lose more loadmasters than infantry.
