Lashkar, Taliban reach peace deal in Kalam
LAHORE: A local lashkar and Taliban have reached a peace deal after two days of fighting in the Kalam area of Swat, a private TV channel reported on Friday. The channel said one member of the lashkar was killed and three injured in the clashes over two days.
The two sides announced a ceasefire after a jirga in Behreen area of the district. However, a military operation continues in the area to eliminate the Taliban.
