Baitullah Mehsud's 'deputy' claims Zainuddin's killing
 A man calling himself a deputy of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Baitullah Mehsud told AFP on Wednesday that his commander had ordered the killing a day earlier of a key tribal rival. Qari Zainuddin -- a young rising tribal leader who was increasingly critical of Baitullah's use of suicide bombings targeting civilians -- was shot dead at a house in Dera Ismail Khan early on Tuesday. "We killed Qari Zainuddin because he was a traitor, he was killed on the orders of Baitullah," said Waliur Rehman, who called an AFP reporter in Peshawar from an unknown location.
