Danes support Afghanistan ops
Despite the fact that three Danish soldiers have been killed and five wounded in Afghanistan in the past 10 days, Danes are positive towards operations in the country, according to a Megafon poll for Politiken and TV2 News.The poll says that 50 percent of those asked want Danish soldiers to continue their presence in Afghanistans Helmand Province, while only 39 percent want their forces home. In comparison, only 24 percent of Britons want to keep forces in Afghanistan with a full 68 percent wanting a withdrawal. Danish troops are fighting alongside British troops in Afghanistans unruly Helmand Province.
