Foreign hand behind NWFP insurgency, says Hoti
NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti on Friday said that "foreign hands" were trying to destabilise the region, while referring to the Taliban insurgency in the province. "I have confirmation that foreign hands are involved in the insurgency," he said after attending a flag-hoisting ceremony at the Police Lines to celebrate the 63rd Independence Day. However, the CM did not name the foreign forces he suspected of supporting the Taliban. Interior Minister Rehman Malik handed over a list of training camps to Kabul where Islamabad said Delhi were training militants for subversive acts in Pakistan.
