Algeria security services thwart Ramadan terror attack plan
[Maghrebia] Three alleged al-Qaeda cell members are accused of plotting a Ramadan attack against the headquarters of Algeria's Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) headquarters, El Watan reported on Thursday (August 20th). The suspects are said to belong to the Al Feth brigade in the "2nd region" of al-Qaeda's Algerian operations. The plot was uncovered when a former Algiers municipal employee was arrested for photographing the DGSN headquarters in Bab El Oued.
