Jubo League leader killed in Sirajganj
[Bangla Daily Star] Criminals hacked a local Jubo League leader to death in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj yesterday. The victim, Humayun Kabeer, 30, of Adachaki village, was vice president of Bhangabari union Jubo League. A group of miscreants stormed into his house about 2:00am and attacked him when he was asleep, Humayun's family said. Hearing him screaming, locals and family members went to his rescue and found him in a critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. Police sent the body to sadar hospital morgue. A case was filed with the Belkuchi Police Station. Family sources alleged that the miscreants set fire to their house four days before the incident.
