2 youths murdered
[Bangla Daily Star] Criminals hacked two youths to death in Dakkhin Khan of the capital and Savar yesterday. The victims, Sumon, 22, carpenter by profession, was a resident of Fayadabad in Dakkhin Khan, and Alamgir Hossain, 20, was an employee of a grocery at Nabinagar bazaar in Savar. Criminals attacked Sumon with machetes around 10:00pm Friday night, Dakkhin Khan police said. He was taken to Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital in Uttara where he succumbed to his injuries around 1:00am yesterday. In another incident, Savar police recovered Alamgir's body from a dairy farm around 9:30am. Officer-in-charge of Savar Police Station AKM Nasir Ullah said Alamgir was missing since Friday night when he left the grocery for home at around 10:00pm. Later, locals identified the body.
