Six Taliban killed in Orakzai
HANGU: Six Taliban were killed and nine others injured when helicopter gunships pounded hideouts in Upper Orakzai on Monday, said officials. The officials said the strikes which targeted Ghalju, Mulla Pati and Khadezai areas destroyed three Taliban hideouts.
Meanwhile, local Taliban kidnapped four Levies Force personnel, and killed one of them. The political authorities held a jirga to discuss Taliban threats to the Levies Force, but the meeting ended without reaching a conclusion.
Also, the political authorities have recovered a leading businessmen and the owner of Daud Armoury, Hakimullah Daud, and arrested two kidnappers. Hakim was kidnapped from Peshawar in March.
